Antique Beds and Mattresses

Cocketts Mattresses are specailist mattress and base makers for Antique Bedsteads. We make to any size and shape. For information please refer to the odd sized mattress page.

We make handmade to measure replacement mattresses and bases if needed for existing bedsteads whether they are old Four Posters from the sixteenth centuary, Antique French Beds, single pine sleigh beds, Edwardian or Vono bed frames, pine or the most modern ikea type.

For some of these bedsteads we may need to shape the mattresses to fit round the posts or into the curve of the footboard. If you have an antique bedstead we will design and hand make the mattress and base to fit.
